The new "scholarship fund" blog is under construction...please check back in a few days for a complete update! More to come... Until then, live fully today and savor every moment! (Eat an apple too...it's good for you!)
One goal of the scholarship fund is to award yearly perpetual scholarships to at least two deserving education graduate students or teachers. Through our recipients, your donations will be directly used to support students in Tehama County California classrooms. I will update as to how the recipients are chosen and how funds are distributed. Thank you for your generosity!

As life long residents of California, our family relocates with my husband's job. We now find ourselves living the good life in beautiful Colorado with our two children, two chihuahuas, and a feline friend!
I am a 'forty something' mom of two, former 3rd grade teacher, and lover of all things apples and chocolate!
Since childhood, I have always felt keenly aware of how short life is, and how we need to savor every day fully. The past few years have made me appreciate this fact all the more. Having been diagnosed with melanoma a few years ago, (I am currently skin cancer free!) experiencing my dad's unexpected passing, and my mom's recent passing after a year long battle with brain cancer, I am even more appreciative of each day we are given.
Live well today, and savor every moment! (That includes eating the chocolate!) Ü
